The experience begins with a relaxed stroll through our vineyards, located in a strategic enclave near Gandesa. During the tour, beneath the rugged skyline of the Els Ports mountains and the iconic silhouette of Santa Bàrbara, you will discover Herència Altés' environmental project firsthand.
You will learn about our commitment to organic farming and how our Garnachas have found their place in the world thanks to the perfect balance between our local winds: the Cerç and the Garbí. We will walk among dry stone walls, authentic "insect hotels" that preserve the vineyard's natural balance, in a setting marked by the history of the Iberians, the Romans, Modernism, the Spanish Civil War (Battle of the Ebro), and the work of Pablo Picasso.
A tribute to local cuisine: the Clotxa
After understanding the origins of our wine, the experience culminates with privileged views from the La Xalamera viewpoint (wine bar). With the horizon open to the Terra Alta, we will enjoy a guided tasting of four of our most representative wines.
The pairing is the true treasure of the region: the clotxa de pagès. The clotxa is the soul of our gastronomy: a rustic loaf of bread hollowed out and filled with roasted tomatoes, garlic, and onions, accompanied in our recipe by smoked sardine and Identitat extra virgin olive oil from Horta de Sant Joan. It used to be the energetic breakfast that farmers took to the fields to work the land. Today, we reclaim it as a bite of km 0 gastronomy that pairs perfectly with the minerality of our wines.

Guided tasting of 4 Herència Altés wines.
1 individual Clotxa made with local and artisanal products (choice of smoked sardine, mushrooms, or local sausage/botifarra).

Area: An ideal enclave to discover the Coll del Moro Iberian settlement, the Fontcalda thermal paradise, or the Meravelles Caves in Benifallet. Perfect for combining with a bike route along the Via Verda (Greenway), a visit to the region's Wine Cathedrals, or discovering the history of the Battle of the Ebro at the "Poble Vell" of Corbera d'Ebre.
