LA XALAMERA, the new Wine Bar of Herència Altés

We are so proud to introduce La Xalamera, our new wine bar in Terra Alta, an inviting space created to celebrate wine, gastronomy, and the surrounding landscape.

Developed in collaboration with Barcelona chef Oriol Casals (Teòric Taverna Gastronòmica) and sommelier Isabelle Brunet, La Xalamera offers an enogastronomic experience that blends traditional recipes, high-quality local products, and a deep respect for the territory. Honest cuisine that pairs naturally with our wines and enriches every visit.

The project was born from the desire to open the winery to everyone. Whether arriving with a reservation or stopping by spontaneously, visitors will find a place designed to enjoy wine, tranquillity, and the privileged views over Finca Lo Grau de l’Inquisidor. A landscape that invites you to slow down, breathe, and feel the essence of the Terra Alta.

True to its name (evoking the joy of xalar, to revel and delight) La Xalamera becomes a meeting point and cultural hub, where each glass comes with a moment to savour, a conversation to share, and a genuine connection to the land.
